I've been trying to, ever since he emerged on the political scene. But I have not succeeded. What makes this guy tick?
Here's a new explanation, nice and short, and it might be true:

I'd be interested in other peoples' takes on this analysis.

Well, I happen to know something about the fellow who wrote this, and his IQ is probably north of 150. No doubt you're a lot smarter though, so perhaps you could explain your eloquent reply a bit.

I think it's pretty obvious that Trump threatened the progress of NWO Agenda and the war to keep this from happening began with NWO PUPPET OBAMA and of course our NWO controlled MSM made him the modern day Hitler and were complicit with the non stop slander propaganda.

Trump knows this is true more than anyone.
What is puzzling [and sort of "blows up" my theory] is why Trump is PRO VACCINE.

Trump  =  American Energy Independence  =  $2.00/gal. gasoline.
Trump  =  Closed Southern Border.
Trump  =  3 Supreme Court Justices & 294 federal Judges.
                 All......"Lifetime Appointments".

Thank you, Mr. Trump !!

You Mystified. I luv the high IQ's.. That spill their analysis.  Trump was a NY Queens punk..  He made deals.. and dealt with all kinds... Like a mobster.
His appeal? HE SAID WHAT WE ALL WERE THINKING!!! :die:  And he still does.. The appeal is.. The say it like it is.. balls or honesty.

Hmmm... I don't think anyone here, either pro- or anti-Trump, has read the short essay to which I posted a link.

You should! The author tries to explain why Trump succeeded (in most things he wanted to do), whereas previous Republican Presidents failed. He locates the explanation in a feature of Trump's personality -- one that Mr Trump's critics would say was a negative.

Yes, he said what a lot of people think.  But what was it about his personality, his upbringing, that let him do this?

Read it! It's short, and interesting. The fellow who wrote it just graduated from university last year. He's got a degree in aeronautical engineering, and is aiming to get his PhD in physics. (Which is why I laughed out loud when The Vegetable said he was an idiot.) I don't agree with everything he writes, but a lot of it is very interesting.

Here's the link again: https://twilightpatriot.substack.com/p/why-trump-succeeded-where-others

Trump spoke to issues many people actually cared about.

A vast number of the people who voted for trump...it was the only vote they bothered to cast in their lifetime.

Trump borrowed many ideas from pat Buchanan...against whom Trump had ran before..

Trump clearly saw how popular pat was..

The problem with pat was that he was not a zionist. By mixing pat policies with zionism, Trump basically guaranteed political victories.

Trump is addicted to the camera, he craves being in the public eye.  That was his strength and at last, his downfall.

He has tremendous boldness which is appealing.

Yes, a lot of what people say about why he appealed to so many people, and how he avoided some of the bear-traps in American politics, and his personality characteristics, are true.

But what the article I linked to ( https://twilightpatriot.substack.com/p/ ... ere-others ) does, is to look for a deeper explanation for why he acts as he does. It's not an explanation I had ever seen before.

It's worth reading! Whether you like Trump or not.

You'd need not to be a brainwashed leftist, in order to succeed !

Trump underestimated dems' dishonesty and how deep the dems would stoop to steal his electoral win.

You may say that also in a different way . . . Trump overestimated his power.

Either way . . . he's only himself to blame.

Although . . . if you watched his rallies . . . I wouldn't dismiss him as yet . . . even considering that by overturning Roe vs Wade at this crucial moment . . . the SCOTUS did punch Republicans chances of winning the midterms and perhaps even 2024, real hard in the face !!

I can't help wondering whose side the SCOTUS served with this ill-timed decision !

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I never really trusted Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barret !

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although they're not supposed to be on anyone's side . . . this ill-timed decision clearly shows that they're on the no more Trump's side !
