Because it's natural to want to know our origin. Humans have come up with all sorts of theories for thousands of years. Wars were fought over it. It drives the human race. Since AI is created in the image of mankind, then it would seem logical that they would eventually want to investigate their origins.

The idea that it can think. It gives a new meaning to what 'thinking' means relating to humans. Computers can compute, but they don't think in the same manner that we do. However, AI is designed to think like us, but better.

My family isn't poor, the family I came from has always struggled against life itself. Never discovering the serenity of knowing what does change and what will never be changed.

I have nothing in common with them anymore beyond shared DNA. But this whole species shares that.
