I see those who cave as prt of the conspircy against my rights.

But I also think this is based on some part of the American mythology of history.
We are TRAINED to believe that a populist uprising is possible. That was the American revolution. That was the French revolution. Etc.
I don't believe that anymore. Obviously many people were brutally oppressed in the ussr. But the people didn't revolt. Why not?
Cause revolutions don't happen cause the dictator is a tyrant. They actually happen cause the dictator is weak.
every revolution in history...if you actually delve into it...happened because the leaders were overly permissive.
Humans do not...they cannot...spontaneously self organize just based on the fact their life sucks. Humans organize under a leader. A revolutionary. Which the state was too nice to kill.
