Oh, please! Israel is not in any sort of precarious position. Syria is involved in a horrible civil war, Lebanon, once the most prosperous of its neighbors, is in a depression, Egypt is no threat because the US bought it off long ago. Jordan is clogged with refugees. Israel has never been in a better position. But Israel is NOT STABLE, because even though nearly everyone votes, there is no consensus between Netanyahu and those that oppose him.
