If so, I must be un-American.  Because, I've never owned anything other than Jap Bikes.  There are only two American made motorcycles I really drool over 1) the VRXSC Screamin' Eagle V-Rod Destroyer and 2) Confederate Hellcat Wraith.

The one British Bike I would love to at least try out is the new(er) Triumph Rocket 3

Back to Jap bikes.  I've owned 2 Hondas, a Kawasaki and a Yamaha.  All good bikes.  Whenever I hear someone who says something like "I'd never own a Jap Bike" - I know that person doesn't know **** about Bikes. The Jap bike I own currently was made in the USA - no plastic and more American parts in that one than in a typical Harley.  Harley sources many of its parts from Japan, Italy, Mexico and China.

And, BMW - many of its parts come straight from China!

I bet Japanese people have more than a few white guys on their design and engineering team because us corporations don't want to hire white men.

Country is a fake identity. Race is real. The usa is a non white country. In fact it is anti white. Better to buy foreign.

I thought the fanciest motorcycles were Italian.

Not at all.  Americans have a leg up in radical motorcycle designs that have actually gone into production.  Even Ducatti now makes pretty conventional looking plastic-fantastic crotch rockets.  Although, there is a real question of whether Ducatti is an Itallian company or a German company - I'll leave it to others to try and figure out.

I do have to hand it to the Brits for their new Triumph Rocket III - that thing is a beast.

Radical designs, however, doesn't necessarily translate into better performance.

On another note, it doesn't seem like there are too many people on this forum into motorcycles.
