A cop has been charged with felony assault after grabbing a female officer by the throat. There can be a long conversation about this but in the end, it is my final assessment that his actions were absolutely wrong (aside from the great line he gave the feral thug which is movie and reward worthy), because he simply "lost it", and all fault lies with the liberals, and how they have made our officers jobs nearly unbearable. We'll keep seeing these meltdowns until we get democrats out of office and begin allowing our officers to do their jobs.

I find nothing noteworthy or respectable about **** talking a *** in handcuffs, armed and surrounded by backup - and then STILL being in such high dudgeon you attack a chick for following protocol.
The only thing about that **** I can say is it happens to **** often. Cops are TRAINED to de-escalate - **** PAID to de-escalate. But they are GEARED toward escalation. 9 times out of 10, the cops show up, and **** gets stupid. Situations go south, because those who escalate have arrived.
They had the situation under control - the yard ape subdued. No remaining threat. But the cop was at a hundred, still looking for a fight - an adrenaline junky. That's not the weak-character dog **** we need to be putting badges on.

I saw a push not a grab. Besides, the sarge wasn't beating the poor lil' innocent ute...
She grabbed his belt trying to stop that from potentially happening. The only grab I saw.

Who I DID respect in that clip was the female junior officer who had the integrity to pull her superior away from a subdued suspect that he was illegally menacing and violating the rights of. Patton was "only human" when he slapped a soldier. And he rose above most warriors. There is a reason 400 police officers have left the Seattle PD, and it's not because 400 of them didn't have what it takes to rise above the rest.

Deputy Fife...not physically well suited to take command of any situation without whipping out his gun. He is a MALE version of what I think most undersized FEMALE COPS have also proven to be.
These "Human Chihuahua Cops" naturally have hair triggers because they are physically inferior to 90% of the Trouble Makers they encounter.

No disrespect intended, GB, but often times a female cop can deescalate a situation better than the alpha type of male cop. Especially in a domestic dispute.
The other thing most cops, not all, may be in shape, but when attempting to wrestle down someone high on meth or PCP, even the strongest cops usually need assistance, unless they use deadly force or a taser, which also sometimes has minimal effect on a whacked-out druggie. And a well-trained female cop knows how to use her tools of defense. I know. I've been around the police community for a very long time.
I do, however love to see some departments...there's one in Georgia I've seen on TV, that has what looks like a department full of nothing but big, kick-*** Marines.
