I saw on Fox News that the Mexican's are calling that ponce murdock "La Amenaza Amarilla".

I have lived in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Cd. Juárez and ridden public transportation in each of them, and on occasion spoken English with other English speakers. I was never berated by anyone for speaking English anywhere in Mexico. What Mexicans resent are the Americans whi have this belief that if a Mexican does not understand English, he WILL understand it if it is spoken LOUDER.

In Mexico City, I frequently heard people speaking Yiddish, Hebrew, French, Náhuatl, Mixteca as well as English. And no one seemed to notice or care.

In New Mexico, when a Chicano wants you to speak to him in Spanish rather than English, he might say "No me ladres" (don't bark at me). This si most common when the speaker uses English words rather than Spanish ones. LIke "Esta pipa necesita hueldeando". This pipe needs welding, rather that Se necesita soldar este tubo.
