Political discourse is fundamentally anti logical.

It seems more about perpetuating myths that are meant to elicit an emotional response rather than having any coherent goal or a solution to any problem

take, for instance, the word 'freedom.' There can be no such thing as disembodied freedom. There is only freedom from certain things or of certain things. If I am going to have the freedom to not be murdered by fellow private citizens, for example, then their freedom to murder me must be restricted. One freedom must always necessarily limit another.

Also many political slogans are just immediately self contradictory. If we are all immigrants...if that label actually applies to all of us...then none of us are immigrants. The term has no meaning because it distinguishes nobody...and any NGO that claims to assist immigrants must equally assist us all, if they care about logical consistency.

The idea that a handful of elites can possibly 'represent' all of the people is absurd. Calling that democracy is absurd. When the media says that Trump is a threat to democracy...when he was elected...what they mean is that he doesn't fit in with the other elite oligarchs who are supposed to weild all power in this country.

This is not to say that irrational myths are necessarily a bad thing. religions can often be useful for social cohesion and quality of life despite the fact that they are in essence delusional.

But I believe we have reached a point in history where solving many of the serious problems that we have is not going to be possible without discarding many of our shibolleths. The more that white people in particular sacrifice at the altar of equality, freedom, and democracy...the more the white race is going to suffer. And only people who reject those gods entirely aRe going to have any future at all (an observation which ought to help people predict the future)

I have also written about the paradox of freedom.  There are only degrees of freedom, it is never total.  Someone in leg irons in a prison cell  has very low freedom.  A poor person on the streets has some freedom.  A wealthy oligarch who is retired has immense freedom.

sometimes, freedom and power are in opposition.  I bet Biden is held to a tight schedule he doesn’t even control.. not much freedom there

...lame...

....there is no honest intelligent public 'political discourse' and there never has been.... you have wandered your whole life with a f@cked-up, con$tantly-mutating world-view...obliviou$ to the major element$ of the fraud....

...btw 'justice' is a more universal ideal/goal than 'freedom'... everyone deserves 'justice'...not everyone deserves 'freedom'...

Pure ^^^^^^ bullspit. Equality is achieved by simple reproductive displacement at mutually evolving in the atmosphere now being part of the numbers here. Everything competes to balance out forward with extremes canceling each other out.

Understanding adapting lives longer than rather adopting some possibilities life is more than evolving forward now.
