There has to be quite a few chemists and chemical engineers out there who could find a way to manufacture some of these meds on their own, then sell it for a reasonable cost on the dark web or another black market. I am just saying, if I had a child that needed a lifesaving treatment, but the cost was ridiculous, then I would not have any issue cooking the medication myself if I had the ability.

Because they are 21+ years old and unpatented. 

Drugs are cheap to make.

Docs still have to prescribe them. I bet there are quite a few docs that refuse to prescribe any that are on that site.

Walter White was NOT A HERO. I will say, this was the greatest TV series ever, and Walter did die a heroic death.

BUT, Walter was making meth, which is addictive and bad for everyone.

He was NOT providing cheaper Rx drugs for sick people.

Meth has no "standard of identity"
(Google it, braindead piece of ****), so you can sell anything as meth.

Pharmaceuticals on the other hand, do. It's not like you can make them in a garage with a cutting board and measuring cups.

when drugs go off patent, there are plenty of companies who will replicate a formula for a generic. Walter White can't do it for less at home.
