Maybe I'm out of touch but does anyone here still watch the CNN, MSNBC, Fox News channels anymore or have they found other sources of info on the web, streaming, podcasts? I typically like getting the news from emails from magazines I subscribe to. That and 30 minutes of CBS nightly news in the evening. Any thoughts?
Nothing is easier than defending the status quo.

The most complete and accurate sources of the news on TV are PBS and BBC America. CNN and MSNBC tend to be superficial and crammed full of commercials and self promos. Fox is not to be taken seriously. Magazines and newspapers are generally more detailed than television and radio. The best source of news about the Middle East is usually Al Jazeera English.

A quick review of yesterday's TV overnight ratings indicates a very large amount of people still watch cable news ... just not cnn or msnbc.

Most of us stream everything. And get news from the internet. That's the budget-conscious way of doing it.
