fossil fuels is potential energy stored in forms storing natural energy when displaced evolving as something else. Burning fossil fuels is using up that stored potentials being evolved into what replaced it when living before becomes fossil fuel. Coal used to be vegetation dehydrated and decomposed to what it became. Crude oil is the same thing in different form. Total sum evolution is what did evolve into everything taking pace now.
