You are right.  A genuine insurrection would be a highly coordinated attack involving hundreds, if not thousands of armed men.  And, I doubt they would try to go head-to-head with US armed forces.  They would hit soft targets, spread out across a large area in a coordinated effort. It's fun to fantasize about the logistics of how this would be done - not the sort of thing I'd ever share details on in an internet forum.

How are his remarks any different than democrats supporting the blm riots? Think of all the slogans the left has been throwing around, no justice no peace, before throwing stones.

Shays rebellion is also interesting because it points to a protection that the magna carta had but the constitution lacks: protection from debt slavery. 

The magna carta explicitly named jews as the people citizens cannot become debt slaves to. Article 10 and 11.
