well, first off, the MAGA crowd fed off of a clinically diagnosed narcissist moron that no US bank would lend to by the name of Donald J. Trump.
second, they seem to have a bunch of crazy people who support this movement at FOX, but what's worse, in the US congress, and I am talking real nu jobs.
so they really screwed themselves there.
it was as if they had an inkling of a terrible idea and then they went with it no matter what. And once things went totally awry, they just kept going.
it was disgusting, and foul, and people just hated the supreme court they had made/
it was very much witch based on William Makepeace Thackeray's chorus of witchery 

wickedry, self appointed ignorance, gosh awfulness. 

But thank goodness they were in the very thin minority. 
Because those people need help.
And don't we all.
