We are supposed to take it as a given that Jim crow was evil oppression of blacks because black people weren't allowed to be around white people.

But it should be pretty obvious that oppression goes 2 ways.

So why wouldn't it equally oppress whites for being unable to be around blacks?

BE SURE TO ONLY ASK THIS QUESTION OF  WHITE GUILT LIBERALS WHO BOUGHT THEIR HOMES RIGHT NEXT TO MLK BLVD AND WHO WILL ONLY SEND THEIR KIDS TO THE 90% NEGRO INNER CITY SCHOOLS.....

You have no idea what Jim Crow was, you stupid Nazi.
Jim Crow forbid Black people from voting, using the schools, libraries, drinking fountains, public restrooms and even the sidewalks that White people used.  White people were not forbidden to enter Black neighborhoods, they could go anywhere they wished. Jim Crow was enforced by the threat of Black people having their houses burned down, being beaten or lynched.

this is not true. Blacks WERE able to vote in jim crow south. White people WERE forbidden from using the black schools etc.

Present day black people are less likely to own a home then during Jim Crow era,

16 percent more likely to commit an act of violence then a white person 
38 percent more likely to commit an act of violence towards a white person then a white person committing an act of violence towards a black person..
