Rail union REJECTS deal to prevent strike being called this Friday as Biden's economic nightmare inches closer: Industrial action would send inflation soaring, disrupt food supplies and cost nation $2b a day
  • The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers announced on Wednesday that its 4,900 members voted to reject a deal its leaders reached with freight railroad companies
  • It now joins two other unions, representing engineers and conductors, that are set to go on strike Friday if they do not get more quality-of-life provisions in their contracts
  • A strike would effectively shut down the country's freight train industry
  • Doing so would cost the country an estimated $2 billion a day and send inflation soaring
  • The Biden administration is now scrambling to get the unions to accept a deal

It's always nice to have a scapegoat for inflation other than intentionally ruinous government spending, the Russians, and ongoing aftereffects of the Chinese plague.

Also make sure people know that these unions are for and supported by dim-0-craps because they donate to them.

Keeping up with the Joneses is critical.

This **** is just clamoring for a minimum wage hike with a different name.

I thought there was some mandate that we were all "un-fireable" during the Fake Flu.

I also know some people that have abused the living **** out of "working" remotely.

People suck at both ends of this equation.
Please seat yourself.

already a supply chain problem with trucking from harbors to trucking terminals to wholesale , then retail and they want to strike holding the whole country hostage as well?

Strikes like is were why I resigned from the union in 1982 when coal miners decided to strike in January and the union I belonged to gave their union millions of dollars to go on strike in winter heating season.

Beware those saving humanity, it will cost you your sole time mutually evolving now sacrificing actual time to keep relative semantics more important than survival of the species..
