I'm hoping it was some wacky leftist cook, not a Conservative.  It's not going to do any good for Conservatives to launch violent attacks against congressional spouses.  No one is going to eradicate leftist ideology by beating an old man up.

Far more likely that it was some left-wing lunatic, as they certainly make up the vast majority of criminals in SF and in all of CA.
The graffiti of UBI (universal basic income) is a mantra of liberals, not conservatives.  And the head of a pig is also far more in tune with the antics of liberals (remember Kathy Griffin's bloody Trump head?) than that of conservatives.

But I have little doubt that the fake news media will attempt to accuse Republicans immediately, before ANY of the facts are revealed, and once they are discovered to have been committed by radical leftists, they'll stop all reporting of the incident.
