I believe you guys have a misunderstanding. I gave plenty of evidence to support my general points which are in the links provided. 

You were referring to the 'east India tea company' being 'private'...and I listed that as an afterthought with a lol...because indeed technically it sold stocks publicly (to british citizens)...but without question the company only existed to enrich a handful of officers
