Twitter owner Elon Musk claimed on Monday in a series of tweets that Apple had threatened to remove the Twitter app from the App Store as part of its app review moderation process.“Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us why,” Musk tweeted.

Twitter is a private business.  There are no 1st Amendment rights at a private business.  Three cheers for the Constitution.  Musk can run Twitter however he desires.  And companies that do business with Twitter can run their businesses as they desire.  If Apple doesn't want to provide the Twitter app to users on their app store, do you think the government should be able to force them?

I've never seen a post from Icky that extolls the virtues of the president.
He asks why others hate the constitution but its biggest champion is sitting in office... nothing from Icky.

There's no 1st Amendment in a private business.  The 1st Amendment protects us from government infringement of free speech...nothing else.  And it's an "at will" country.  You work at the will of the boss...and if the boss doesn’t want you there anymore the boss can **** can you for any reason or for no reason at all.

karma will reach Apple sooner than later. Actions taken receive reactions given where a 10 fold loss will start by next year.

all can be avoided by just making the app available.

Elon and myself spoke of this possible move by Apple 4-5 days ago. He already has a plan. The man is always two steps ahead of his haters.

He believes that Apple’s app review department is keeping a close eye on Twitter’s content moderation under Musk to see if more questionable content, such as porn, slips through.

They didn't care about child porn when Jack Donkey was running Twitter and now all of a sudden they're going to pretend they care about regular porn. 


I think they're mad because Elon already nuked the kitty porn from the site.

For what?  Oh wait, Elon is already tossing around the "Duopoly" **** accusation because it's possible that Microsoft will also be dropping the Twitter app from the MS app store.  Of course Apple and Microsoft are competitors so we shall see how the duopoly accusation goes.

For anti-competitive practices.  This is where a company takes steps to prevent or reduce competition in a market. Apple prohibiting the Twitter App, under the pretext that Musk is the new owner - - yeah, I think Apple's going to get its keister bloodied over this.
