Interesting passage: Jer 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

What time of the year was December 2,000 years ago?  Keep in mind the Gregorian calendar did not come into existence until the 1500's.  The original Roman calendar only had 10 months and it went through many iterations.  Probably because it took quite some time to figure out how to adjust for its imprecision.

As for the Rudolf story - LOL - you might have something there.
I'm just saying it has shifted in a certain direction. It certainly is more of a commercial holiday than it was 500 years ago...

and our ancestors 500 years ago woukd be appalled to hear that our Christmas involves a lot of stories and jingles made up by jews lol

Santa was an elf until Coca-Cola portrayed him as a full sized man in 1931.

Do you even bother with decorating a live tree?

Don't you ever get tired of being a *******?

But if you read The Night Before Christmas, the 1822 poem that established Santa's modern form, you'll see that he's not a big guy at all. He's an elf. He's not even a little bit big. And this is not even alluded to; it's stated very clearly.Dec 23, 2019

you are retarded bro. 'father christmas' goes back to 16th century england, and 'saint nick' (a human known to give presents to children in december) goes back to the 3rd century. And it is generally suggested that his physical appearance basically borrows from Odin (who also had a flying sled and a long white beard)...which does back to pre christian paganism. (did you even know that europeans were not always christians?)

the poem you speak of calls him an elf as a general reference to his magical and supernatural nature...old english folklore did not percive the 'elves' as little dudes, but mystical native inhabitants of their land who came from some earlier civilization. Also...remember...there was a rhyming constraint.

but santa has been spoken about long before the 1800s...and he was portrayed as human sized long before some stupid coke commercial

you just dont know 1/10th of what you think you do, and you dont know 1/10000 of what I do. your arrogance is pathetic.

But there has also been corruption of the mythos itself. Take rudolf the red nosed reindeer, for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolph_t ... d_Reindeer

Beloeve it or not, this is not a christian story. This was created by a jew https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_L._May ( "born in Arverne, Long Island, New York,[1] and grew up in a fairly affluent secular Jewish home in New Rochelle, New York.[2][3] His parents were members of the Ethical Culture Society, which believed that morality is independent of theology.[4] ")..and as much as he might pretend to have no religious preference, the story contains very obvious references to Jewish culture and religion.

For example...the idea of "lighting the way" (with the nose no less) is an obvious allusion to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tikkun_olam ..whereby jews believe they were chosen by God (or perhaps santa) to 'light the way' for the 'nations' (goyim in Hebrew, with the pejorative slang goy). Incidentally it is not a coincidence that Lucifer is also the 'light bringer'.

And the goyim that rudolf is leading are of course a homogenous collection of reindeer with exaggerated German names...(since Santa himself derives from German folklore-although americans today no longer have any awareness of the original stories). These goyim also would not let rudolf "play in their reindeer games"...probably because he was a fake reindeer with a **** up nose and a foreign religion.

But somehow this bizarre product of the imagination of a neurotic jew has become a staple of the Christmas tradition...and I only mentioned it as a case study because there are many other similar examples.

Incidentally I would also like to mention this guy: https://www.coffeeordie.com/si-spiegel-christmas-tree

Yes, a jew who literally bombed german women and children in ww2 invented the fake christmas tree. The funniest thing one will notice when they go down this rabbit whole is how everything is so fitting...
The fact you somehow manage to uncover a Joo hiding in every nook and cranny of American degenerate "Culture" is far more praiseworthy than the dirty tricks that Jews managed to conceive of in the first place

No, I don't buy the sentiment that Christmas has become too commercial.  Christmas is about giving.  It's about giving and receiving.  Yes, you buy something at the store, and you give it to someone.  Perhaps the whole Christmas has become too commercial should be critiqued.
