Thank you, precious.

The "parliament" as you call The National Assembly didn't exist for most of all Louis' long reign; only came into being when the revolution started and everything went to ****. I'm certainly not operating on the democrat model: See a dick, suck a dick.
Also, no ***.
Are these lobs, you little ***? Are you flirting?
Louis 16 was a mild fellow - a reformer, FFS. One of the first things he did on accession was get rid of his granddad's measures that nutted parliament. He was regularly thwarted by parliament - more constrained by them than previous kings. He embraced the revolution and was titled "Restorer of French Liberty" by the Revolutionary National Assembly.![]()

You should GOOGLE, then post, fruitcake.
separation of repressed and suppressed. repressed is by personal choice, suppressed is social coercion to compromise with deniers or else be eliminated from humanity's institutions of reasonable doubt giving ancestors freedom to pretend life is more than adapting while timed apart in plain sight.jack » 09 Dec 2022, 9:14 am » wrote: ↑ The "parliament" as you call The National Assembly didn't exist for most of all Louis' long reign; only came into being when the revolution started and everything went to ****. Jack meant repressed. You're not the best judge of what is or isn't on the mark. .Nostradamus'omh » 09 Dec 2022, 9:19 am » wrote: ↑ separation of repressed and suppressed. repressed is by personal choice, suppressed is social coercion to compromise with deniers or else be eliminated from humanity's institutions of reasonable doubt giving ancestors freedom to pretend life is more than adapting while timed apart in plain sight.

Jack is the character I play here. I suspect neither is your name Nostramus'omh or that you say things like "separation of repressed and suppressed. repressed is by personal choice, suppressed is social coercion to compromise with deniers or else be eliminated from humanity's institutions" at the dinner table.Nostradamus'omh » 09 Dec 2022, 10:04 am » wrote: ↑ Wow third person narrative. I never said that the revolutionary national assembly pre-existed the revolution. What are you doing to correct absolute corruption besides enabling it forward?
life doesn't evolve backwards at any time. enabling corrupts the natural eternal separation of existing reproductions limited to their one cycle adapting to the moment here as occupying space in their current geographical displacement.

Okay, repressed one, you got me to google. You meant parlement, the French judicial system, a non legislative body. You're right they did give Louis a hard time. How do you square that with you comment that monarchy was always a religious institution?FOS » 08 Dec 2022, 11:02 pm » wrote: ↑ i do not agree at all. religion and nationalism were always at odds. And they still are.
in fact this has been ESPECIALLY true ever since charles darwin.
The fact monarchy was a religious institution supports my point...jack » 09 Dec 2022, 2:10 pm » wrote: ↑ How do square that with you comment that monarchy was always a religious institution?
I agree it always was though the connection was inherently uneasy. When popular government arrived religion still remained at the center. In the United States it's "in God we trust" not the people we elect. Or so we pretend.
Well, I expect the various ethnic immigrants in the U.S. to develop loyalty here, as they have in the past. Nationalism is more than loyalty to a people as you just defined them. It's also loyalty to the values the nation embraces.FOS » 09 Dec 2022, 2:18 pm » wrote: ↑ The fact monarchy was a religious institution supports my point...
Monarchy was also always at odds with nationalism...
Why wouldn't it be? Nationalism Is loyalty to a people...it is a mass movement.
Lol monarchs usually weren't even the same ethnicity as their subjects
you expect the Irish or the scottish nationalists to support the British empire? What about Indians and Chinese? Lol
