Well, I expect the various ethnic immigrants in the U.S. to develop loyalty here, as they have in the past. Nationalism is more than loyalty to a people as you just defined them. It's also loyalty to the values the nation embraces.

If ethnic groups DID become loyal to the usa then THEY ARE NOT NATIONALISTS. 

white nationalists here are not loyal to the usa. Black nationalists here are not loyal to the usa. 

Your brain seems to have been confused by us propaganda. 

Also.. your history is wrong. Blacks as a whole never became patriots. Neither did the irish or Italian catholics. Neither did jews. Nor any of the recent immigrants.
 
there are only 3 immigrant groups who ever really felt comfortable being nationalists and loyal to the usa: English, german, and scottish. Although the Scots identified moreso with the south
 
 I mean...just look at the American concept of Santa Claus....since we are approaching Christmas. That is OBVIOUSLY a blend of English, Dutch, Nordic, and German ideas of the character.

And for MOST of us history, patriotism was almost explicitly linked to 'northwest europe' nationalism. 

Northwetern europe is all fairly similar you know...all largely germanic.

our 1927 immigration act was an open declaration that we did not want eastern Europeans. And as you may know, WOPs were never much loved here either. 

The only real 'melting pot' that worked here was among people who were already very closely related...broadly germanic people. That is the REAL history of the usa, which you could confirm if you read actual books and stuff lol...the NPR version of us history is totally fake. 

now...'Germanic people' nationalism basically died in the Civil rights era...which was a natural consequence of world War 2. 

the current usa is basically not serious. Patriotism would be linked to a woke theocracy...expressed by the mantra 'diversity is our greatest strength'

It’s possible your brain is group confused through its commitment to fascism. Irish and Italian Catholics by ethnicity aren’t the rigid types you suggest. Jews and blacks are a closer match but there are lots of exceptions with them as well. It’s a more fluid world than you think.

Lol dude...obviously everything is 'fluid' to some degree but that isn't the point. We are speaking about the reality of us history.

We were speaking about what it means to be a nation, and you answered yourself. That was our identity. It stopped being our identity long time ago. And it isn’t any assessment of history, merely descriptive of the early population of the country, minus its slaves. Absent what that population did there isn’t any history.

Woke means different things to different people, but there is universal agreement among the woke that Aristotelian science does not apply to claims about sex. No one who declines to have reality dictated by the fiat of mere declaration is, or can be, "woke." Those who "misgender" (properly ascribe sex based on objective reality) are the enemies of all wokesters.

I'm not savvy enough to even begin to debate this topic, although FOS brings out some very interesting and highly articulate points. I must scurry to the interwebs to find the truth or propaganda and trying to discern from either is a feat in itself.

Hitler blamed the infiltration of blacks into Germany on several things, and that I have no concern over. I would like to point out that I fully agree with the way this information I found emphasizes his general attitude toward them and his contempt for their being in his country. He was far ahead of his time in this regard. Look what has happened to our country with the black race...much bad and little good. I love Hitler's definition: "negrified." If that was indeed a description he used. If it did come from Mein Kampf, he certainly must have.

yes, hitler did speak of the negrification of europe and especially of the USA. This was largely a jewish project; he did not blame the ****** per se for it.

it was a policy that was explicitly advocated by richard coudenhove kalergi in his book 'practical idealism' written in 1924.

kalergi himself was not a jew (he was half german half japanese), but he did also advocate for jewish supremacy in that book.

kalergi made an appearance in the american film 'casablanca' which was largely about the white man saying goodbye to his women.

i mean...Hitler himself consistently had the correct take on all our modern issues. you should read his speeches. He was way ahead of his time.

he felt no personal animus against black people themselves....although he did not want them mixing with whites. Plenty of blacks feel the same way, in fact.

if you see someone really pushing for race mixing...you will find it is probably jewish. Not white or black.

I had no idea an Alexandrian priest named Arius started the whole thing. Arianism. Didn't come across well with other Christian doctrines, did it? I'm surprised he wasn't executed, but exiled, seeing he was denounced by the church as a major heretic.

well many of the gothic tribes adopted arianism. the ostrogoths and the visigoths. they were the biggest military powers of the day. byzantium may have disavowed arianism, but they were still terrified of the ostrogoths from a military perspective. (and the visigoths conquered italy) 

it was not until centuries later when the franks became dominant militarily, who had adopted augustinian christianity, that the arians fell into obscurity.

Yes, the term's original meaning when coined by the black community in the 1930's as a warning. If fell out of use, then was rediscovered by racists to be used as a slur, minimizing the seriousness of racism by hyping it into mockery. Seems to be working.
