that is your commentary? repeating his name?
Sure, that's all your OP is worth. But I could have left the author's name out and said...who TF cares.

this is how democrats were in the 80s lol.
gore vidal is homosexual and a former democratic political candidate, ...but he named his favorite politician as huey long (an obvious crypto fascist politician who was assassinated by a paranoid jew)
"Now the long-feared Asiatic colossus takes its turn as world leader, and we—the white race—have become the yellow man’s burden. Let us hope that he will treat us more kindly than we treated him. In any case, if the foreseeable future is not nuclear, it will be Asiatic, some combination of Japan’s advanced technology with China’s resourceful landmass. Europe and the United States will then be, simply, irrelevant to the world that matters, and so we come full circle. Europe began as the relatively empty uncivilized Wild West of Asia; then the Western Hemisphere became the Wild West of Europe. Now the sun has set in our West and risen once more in the East."
this is the sort of thing you could actually say in the 1980s...without anyone cancelling you....huh!
"We have never had a popular government in the sense that they feared, nor are we in any danger now. Our only political party has two right-wings, one called Republican, the other Democratic. But Henry Adams figured all that out back in the 1890s. “We have a single system,” he wrote, and “in that system the only question is the price at which the proletariat is to be bought and sold, the bread and circuses.” But none of this was for public consumption. "
something I have been saying in this forum for a while.
so why DIDNT the usa find common cause with their racial cousins to thwart the rising power of the far east? Well...the actions of the USA simply cannot be understood without one critical component that seems to have escaped the ken of gore vidal: the jew.
His superficial analysis seems correct...the USA is a 'country' that is basically designed to benefit oligarchs...so why does he suppose the USA might actually operate like a real country that cares about its power and the welfare of its citizens? It wouldnt. The jews who control this country are an international people...they do not feel connected to the country at all. And that is why we never were able to normalize relations with russia...despite having very good reasons to.
This is Disco Gore Vidal...FOS » 22 Dec 2022, 4:36 am » wrote: ↑ like...announcing that you dont care?
well i think many people would find it interesting how much less dangerous it was to speak of white solidarity in the 80s...things sure did change fast, eh?
and also...why in fact DID the USA insist on being an enemy of russia? Was that good for us in any realpolitik sense? What about his proposal? Any real reason it was impossible?

The rapid rise of Japan in the late 70s and 80s made a lot of people, even very smart ones like Vidal, say some stupid things..
But it is not in a context of White Solidarity, but rather Anacyclosis...the reference to Spengler is not accidental.

The Russian Federation was given a chance to join the 'Club'.
"The Group of Eight (G8) refers to the group of eight highly industrialized nations—France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States, Canada, and Russia—that hold an annual meeting to foster consensus on global issues like economic growth and crisis management, global security, energy, and terrorism."

--->"On 24 March 2014, the G7 members cancelled the planned G8 summit that was to be held in June of that year in the Russian city of Sochi, and suspended Russia's membership of the group, due to Russia's annexation of Crimea; nevertheless, they stopped short of outright permanent expulsion."

If you want to complain about 'White-on-White' crime, you need to ask yourself why is Russian killing White People.

"Beginning in 1994, Russia joined the discussions, and the group became known as the Group of 8 (G8) or the “Political Eight”; Russia officially became the eighth member in 1997. In March 2014 Russia precipitated an international crisis when it occupied and annexed Crimea, an autonomous republic of Ukraine. The original Group of 7 (G7) responded by indefinitely suspending Russia’s membership in the group, effectively dissolving the larger G8."nefarious101 » 22 Dec 2022, 9:08 am » wrote: ↑ Your link....the council of foreign relations....just who are they?

I'm not sure. After looking at Nefarious' Avatar, it might be time to put the Bong Pipe away. (?)
