I was wondering the same thing. @Cannonpointer  , do you have any info?

I'm bumping this because I'd really like to know if anyone, @Cannonpointer  has heard anything from Jinn.  We've all know Jinn for quite some time.  I know he wasn't in great health, and had been talking about dying for some time now.  I can't imagine that no one here knows anything about Jinn.  At one time he thought he and I were enemies - we were never enemies.
 

Cyndi you didn’t pay him a visit and cheer him up?

His last log on was 1-16.
His last post was 12-14.

I've been keeping an eye out, because I, too, am concerned. I tried to get some conversation from him, but it was a no go.

I haven't seen the thread in which it is was disclosed, but my understanding is that his wife died suddenly. He has been declining, according to him, for some years, and he requires assistance in daily living. One intuits that he has given up. He logged on without posting for an entire month, and hasn't logged on in two weeks. 

I have no further information. It saddens me, as I like him and would welcome an opportunity to make things easier for him. But I have no further information - and believe it or not, this website is constructed in such a way that I have no more way of reaching out than you do.
 
You will know I have given up on him when his global tribute thread is unpinned.

Thank you.  I don't want to assume the worst, but I liked the guy and would like to know if he's departed this world.

Agreed...maybe he's just globe trotting and isn't interested in checking in right now.

If I thought kfools was dying or dead, I would be concerned for him. I hope that's not the case. He didn't seem to be even half the age of Jinn.  FWIW, I never had a beef with Kfools or the way he ran the Dot-Org forum, or even with any of his mods.
