Three cheers for the surge in liberal men getting vasectomies
Liberal men are getting vasectomies in record numbers to protest abortion bans across the country in the wake of the Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade. And that likely means fewer abortions.
Reports of increased numbers of vasectomies have been coming in over the last six months following the summer ruling from the Supreme Court. In fact reports began surfacing after Texas became the first state to successfully ban abortions in late 2021 — with some reports indicating an increase of 15% in the number of men seeking vasectomies.
“Since the Dobbs decision, we have seen an increasing number of male-bodied people coming and requesting this service [vasectomies],” Dr. Margaret Baum of Planned Parenthood said. “We performed 142 vasectomies in 2021. Already this year, we’ve done close to 200 in 2022.”

This is not natural selection... at least not as Darwin laid out. Besides the birth rate has been declining for years predating this SC decision.

What is interesting is how they almost never had an answer for the fact that abortions declined every year from 1978 to 2021. In WV and WY... they have a negative birth rate.. Deaths > births. If those places are so great, why the lack of people making babies and staying there. Of those who have children in WV and WY... over 50% leave the state within 5 years and never come back

Part of the reason we have high inflation is the low birth rate in America.
The boomers are dying off and the workers were not paid enough to have a big family and survive.
So they had one or two kids.
Most of my friends have one kid.

I said well you had over a hundred oil companies go out of business during Trump a record driving down supply when demand came back.
And you didn't have Juan picking the fruit and a discount rate because they quit worker visas during covid.

yet they are willing to move to ID, NV, UT, OR, and MT... and not just to the cities. Twin Falls, Bozeman, Elko, LaGrande... all have seen growth all the while being mostly conservative and dominated by ranching, farming, and government. Hmmm...
