I got my first Gun at age 12, a Single Shot 410 Winchester Breech-Loader.. Shooting was a family activity, and although Dad was a competition shooter and had a Federal Firearms License, we still took the training / safety course at the Range by a certified instructor..

Even if you've never had a class or watched any Western, you know that pulling the trigger will discharge the weapon.. Supposedly the scene Baldwin was rehearsing to not call for the Gun to be fired at all, yet he did it anyway.. Then he lied saying it fired without his touching the trigger, highly unlikely with a single action revolver.. He deviated from the script, and did not follow basic safety protocol..

You are exactly right.  Btw...when I was a kid my dad had many guns, and one of them was a .22/410 over and under. I loved that gun.

Alec was NOT thinking when he was **** around with that gun on the set...especially when they had live rounds on the set the day before.

I sure value the hunter's safety course we were required to take.  If we passed the course we could get our hunting license at age 12.   I passed it.   :)

The only reason this is political, per say, is because of Baldwin's stance on firearms.

Here is a guy that's as anti gun as anti gun can get, making a movie where people are shooting each other with guns, and then he actually does shoot and kill somebody on set... with a REAL gun and a REAL bullet.

That's why it's political.

Personally I see is as a tragedy above all else. That young woman had the whole world ahead of her and was building a promising career, and it was gone in a flash. Baldwin and the armorer should pay a penalty for their neglect in causing her death, because their neglect is what caused her death... and that not political, from my point of view anyway.

Baldwin's political affiliation or opinions have little to nothing to do with that part.

It's true...many leftist Hollywood types love to make money with movies about gun violence. Then they turn around and say...down with gun violence.

Obviously Alec had little maturity when it came to responsible handling of a gun.

Alec once told his first wife to hush when she was going through labor because he was on the phone. He wanted her to keep the noise down.

This is how lefties are. They are just sick assholes. Just sick.

New Mexico prosecutors will charge Baldwin and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed with two federal counts of involuntary manslaughter over the death of Hutchins on the “Rust” film set in October 2021, when a real bullet was loaded into a prop gun.

Assistant director David Halls, who handed Baldwin the loaded gun, accepted a misdemeanor charge in a plea deal.

“If any one of these three people — Alec Baldwin, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed or David Halls — had done their job, Halyna Hutchins would be alive today. It’s that simple,” special prosecutor Andrea Reeb said.

Should have taken an NRA Firearm Safety course.
