Trump's position appears to be that pence deserved to be hung for refusing to go outside the constitutional order and take it upon himself to appoint Trump president.

Trump accidentally told the truth when he said what takes courage is to do nothing.
Pence behaved like a patriot rather than an apparatchic.
After he refused to attempt to overthrow the democratic form of government we cherish Pence insisted on remaining in the capital.
I consider Pence to be a sanctimonious self-righteous hypocritical asshole
But he more or less did the right thing in this instance in my opinion.

It's pretty concrete all right and it's getting more concrete by the minute as pence has been subpoenaed.
