Who stands for America the Beautiful? Who is making you stand? 

There is no flag or song protocol anywhere that requires a "civilian" to follow. And, as someone who served 26 years in the military, I can assure you I know what I am talking about.

So then why do y’all get upset about a kneeling brother and another anthem. 

Sports championships are full of display. You just don’t like the ones you’re looking at.

Just a suggestion is all 36 U.S. Code § 301 is.... .... exactly why you can burn a flag, wear it or do anything else you want to do with it.....only punishable by UCMJ...which is active duty.

I wonder if they took **** off the list of punishable offenses, or simply don't enforce it? **** sometimes went "man overboard" in the real Navy.

Absolutely, disrespectful. Just like all the *** and wiggers saggin. Just like 99% of rap songs. All I'm saying is there are NO flag laws that apply to any civilian.

The BEST National Anthem for this country is "This Land is Your Land". It actually mentions  the country. It is not a long series of rhetorical questions about the flag flying all night.

I did not feel "served" by paying for his pastries and panties for 26 years, while he did the bidding and enforced the world order of wall street gloabalists. 

I'd prefer he'd have been a regular blood donor, or soeone who cleans up roadways or works with wayward youth as a volunteer. THAT would serve the country. Flouncing around playing dress up? Not so much. Creating blood enemies in foreign ports of call? Not so much.

So he knealt, to show that he wasn't disrespecting the flag - just did not want to stand. 

Maybe we need to do our flag fluffing somewhere besides our sporting events.

In fact, at every event I have attended the announcement was always a request.  There was nobody official going around demanding people stand or remove their hats.

Others applaud his motives. What people...maybe even you...refuse to either understand or accept, is the under the Collective Bargaining Agreement signed by the NFLPA, the Operating Rules of the NFL are an integral part of the CBA.  Under their CBA, the training facilities and the stadium grounds on game day, are considered part of their workplace and all team related activities at those locations are considered time at work.  Federal law allows an employer to prohibit an employee, while at work, from participating in any or all protest and to prohibit all protest on their private property.  The ownership of the 49ers, didn't have to allow him to protest.  If fact, they would have been within their legal right to void the remainder of his contract based on him violating the CBA.  Maybe he was pressured...but that was their right.
