There is no flag or song protocol anywhere that requires a "civilian" to follow. And, as someone who served 26 years in the military, I can assure you I know what I am talking about.
So then why do y’all get upset about a kneeling brother and another anthem.

Sports championships are full of display. You just don’t like the ones you’re looking at.

I wonder if they took **** off the list of punishable offenses, or simply don't enforce it? **** sometimes went "man overboard" in the real Navy.

Absolutely, disrespectful. Just like all the *** and wiggers saggin. Just like 99% of rap songs. All I'm saying is there are NO flag laws that apply to any civilian.

No,it isn't. "My Country 'Tis of Thee"has the same melody as God Save the Queen.  No one can be sued for using The Star Spangled Banner,America the Beautiful, or God Bless America, they are in the public domain.\

Prince sued Phil Collins over "Susudeo".

The BEST National Anthem for this country is "This Land is Your Land". It actually mentions  the country. It is not a long series of rhetorical questions about the flag flying all night.

You can sue me for stomping on your head if you burn the American flag and have me tried and jailed for assault. It's all good with me.

I did not feel "served" by paying for his pastries and panties for 26 years, while he did the bidding and enforced the world order of wall street gloabalists.

I'd prefer he'd have been a regular blood donor, or soeone who cleans up roadways or works with wayward youth as a volunteer. THAT would serve the country. Flouncing around playing dress up? Not so much. Creating blood enemies in foreign ports of call? Not so much.

Others did - made a huge fuss.

So he knealt, to show that he wasn't disrespecting the flag - just did not want to stand.

Maybe we need to do our flag fluffing somewhere besides our sporting events.

But then, the pentagon PAYS THE NFL TO DO THE ANTHEM.

Eventually there will be NO SONGS, ANTHEMS, PRAYER allowed at any sporting event in the USA. Does the left really care?

No, they do it in spite. Why should some people have something, and others have nothing?

They do it so all have NOTHING.

In fact, at every event I have attended the announcement was always a request.  There was nobody official going around demanding people stand or remove their hats.
Sorry, but there is some **** buried in there. The pretense that Kaepernick was not PRESSURED to stand, forced to defend his practice of remaining seated by questions from sports reporters, and a target of anger from the right for not standing? That's My Little Pony world, right there.

The problem was created NOT by Kaepernick but by angry flag fluffers.

Here's the **** timeline - it did NOT START with him kneeling. He knelt out of RESPECT (for his fellow footballer, not the flag):Aug. 26, 2016: During the anthem before a Packers-49ers pre-season game, Kaepernick sits on the San Francisco bench. Kaepernick says he sat because the country “oppresses Black people and people of colour.” His action does not attract immediate national attention. He mentions that he had earlier not stood for the anthem.Aug. 27, 2016: Kaepernick’s sit-down begins drawing headlines. Some condemn him for dishonouring the flag and country. Others applaud his motives. The NFL says players are encouraged but not required to stand for the anthem.Aug. 30, 2016: Former NFL player and ex-Green Beret Nate Boyer suggests to Kaepernick to kneel rather than sit during the anthem.Sept. 1, 2016: Kaepernick kneels before a road game against the Chargers and says he will donate $1 million (U.S.) to organizations supporting his aims.Sept. 5, 2016: U.S. President Barack Obama defends Kaepernick’s protest, saying it is his constitutional right.Sept. 7, 2016: NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says he “doesn’t necessarily agree with what (Kaepernick) is doing,” but supports players who seek changes in society.Sept. 11, 2016: On the first full day of the regular season, several players kneel during the anthem.

None of this silly circus sideshow **** would be an issue if the PENTAGON WERE NOT PAYING THE NFL WITH Y MONEY TO FLAG-FLUFF.

But that was not the PLACE for it, you see.

The place for peaceful protest is in your bedroom, with the curtains drawn.

What people...maybe even you...refuse to either understand or accept, is the under the Collective Bargaining Agreement signed by the NFLPA, the Operating Rules of the NFL are an integral part of the CBA.  Under their CBA, the training facilities and the stadium grounds on game day, are considered part of their workplace and all team related activities at those locations are considered time at work.  Federal law allows an employer to prohibit an employee, while at work, from participating in any or all protest and to prohibit all protest on their private property.  The ownership of the 49ers, didn't have to allow him to protest.  If fact, they would have been within their legal right to void the remainder of his contract based on him violating the CBA.  Maybe he was pressured...but that was their right.
