The right to bear arms shall not be infringed. Gun laws, by definition, will only impact the law abiding.slideman » 15 Feb 2023, 12:27 pm » wrote: ↑ Oh as has happened in Britain the Netherlands France Japan every other civilized Nation in the God damn world you **** asshole.
The language of the amendment is clear. You have the right to join or be protected by a well-regulated militia. What part of well regulated do you misunderstand?
Heller was decided an error and we will get rid of this **** Supreme Court one day and get some decent gun laws in place and stop this Carnage.
How? Be an adult, and go on the record. Exactly what laws would you enact and how, specifically, would the "stop that carnage"?slideman » 15 Feb 2023, 12:28 pm » wrote: ↑ That representative expression was spot on. We do not need your thoughts and prayers we need to stop the Carnage
First thing would be to close the gun show loophole.ConsRule » 15 Feb 2023, 1:37 pm » wrote: ↑ How? Be an adult, and go on the record. Exactly what laws would you enact and how, specifically, would the "stop that carnage"?
It would help a lot- most of the illegal guns in Chicago are imported from states that have gun shows
You left out the part on how, specifically, those things would "stop the carnage".slideman » 15 Feb 2023, 1:39 pm » wrote: ↑ First thing would be to close the gun show loophole.
Second might be the banning of assault weapons.
Then the banning of large capacity magazines.
We need to keep weapons of war out of the hands of arrested development psychopaths like skans for example.

Indiana has no law requiring a background check on the purchaser of a firearm when the seller is not a licensed dealer.
So the gangs are going out of state to get guns...
Illinois law states it's legal to travel to another state to purchase a gun if the person can legally purchase the gun in Illinois. That means the people purchasing those illegal guns are violating Illinois law. You constantly demonstrate you don't understand criminals don't mind breaking the law.slideman » 15 Feb 2023, 1:47 pm » wrote: ↑ It would help a lot- most of the illegal guns in Chicago are imported from states that have gun shows

All of your idiotic "solutions" will do NOTHING to stop criminals from having and obtaining guns.slideman » 15 Feb 2023, 1:39 pm » wrote: ↑ First thing would be to close the gun show loophole.
