The right to bear arms shall not be infringed. Gun laws, by definition, will only impact the law abiding.

How?  Be an adult, and go on the record.  Exactly what laws would you enact and how, specifically, would the "stop that carnage"?

First thing would be to close the gun show loophole.
Second might be the banning of assault weapons.
Then the banning of large capacity magazines.

We need to keep weapons of war out of the hands of arrested development psychopaths like skans for example.

Illinois law states it's legal to travel to another state to purchase a gun if the person can legally purchase the gun in Illinois.  That means the people purchasing those illegal guns are violating Illinois law.  You constantly demonstrate you don't understand criminals don't mind breaking the law.

 

Seems reasonable that enforcing existing laws would be a great first step.

Do you not understand the meaning of, "the right of the People to keep and bear arms SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED"!

"The People" DOES NOT refer to the army or a militia!  It refers to the rights of EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN!
In the 2008 case District of Columbia v. Heller, the Supreme Court held that the "Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home."

So either educate your stupid self to our rights under the 2nd Amendment or just keep your ignorance to yourself, and you'll at least appear to be smarter than you are!

There is no gun show loophole.  Any state that does not force background checks for all private ownership transfers, has this issue, like MI.  If the rep was serious he would initiate legislature that would require UBCs for all private ownership transfers.  Has he done so yet?

The Michigan shooter used a handgun, not what you falsely call an assault rifle.  Additionally, what you call an assault rile is nothing more than a semi automatic rifle with visual features that make it look mean and scary.  

The weapons you refer to are not weapons of war.
