The Michigan shooter had a criminal history involving firearms and was on probation for 18 months for possessing a loaded gun.
Neighbors said that they sometimes heard him shooting guns in his yard
and his father said that he was a loner who stayed in his room all the time and had started acting crazy.
Two reasons why this guy should never have had a gun.
Now that Democrats have taken control of the Michigan legislature, they will push for Red Flag laws which could help in situations like this.
