Unsurprisingly, in a state controlled by a retentive fascist like Gov. Ron DeSantis, the books deemed too dangerous to read mostly involve ideas like "gay couples exist" and "there was once a civil rights movement."

My city has its problems and we are trying to solve them what are you doing?
Same problems they have in places like Lexington for example.
Those problems are endemic to cities right now for several reasons.
Ronald Reagan closed all the mental health facilities.
We do not have sufficient housing stock for the population.
There's so much money here property values have gone up to the point that a normal person cannot afford to buy a house or rent.
These are real problems that you have no interest in solving as far as I can see you use them as a cudgel to beat us over the head with.
According to you the problem is democratic governance of the cities but Republican cities are not doing any better.
