(laughing). Wrong.  My view was that we are all Brothers and Sisters.
On my mother's side of the family there are Quakers, not that I'm aware they participated in the Underground Railroad, and they lived in the North, not that I'm aware that they fought in the Civil War.  And on my father's side, my great grandfather came over from Germany in 1869, to escape the Franco-Prussian War.

So, it didn't matter to this guy who the **** I was or where I came from, he was consumed with hatred.

I'm from SoCal.  I came to New Orleans in the 60s.  I was 18, walked up to a Bus Stop and saw a Black guy about 22-24.  I stuck out my hand and said "Hey Brother, what's up".  He said "We'll be Brothers when I can **** your wife, your daughter, your mother, and your sister for the next 400 years".  I just stood there with my mouth open, ... flabbergasted.  He had no idea who I was, all he knew was that I was 'white'.  
In the 60s, I thought it would take a generation to solve the 'Race' problem, now I think it will take a hundred years, maybe longer.  I think it will depend on 'intermarriage' between the races, I think the hatred runs that deep.

The hatred that black guy has towards you was taught to him by his elders and community.

With the exception of a few true sociopaths and psychopaths, hate isn't born into people. It's taught.

It's an honest assessment from someone from a part of the country that didn't have 'separate Drinking Fountains' or 'sit in the back of the Bus' rules.  In San Diego, the mood was that we are all equal, all 'God's Children', all Brothers and Sisters.  It was a rude awakening on my introduction to the 'Southern Mentality'.  This guy hated me and there was nothing I could do about it.

This guy wasn't a 'Militant'.  He was just some guy at a Bus Stop.  It was 1965.  The South was transitioning into the Civil Rights era.  
He got on the Bus first and sat in the third seat back.  I walked past him and looked at him, he just scowled back at me.  I walked to the back of the Bus and sat there because it was less crowded.

My view is that like Slaves of the past thousands of years, the slave women were used as '**** Toys', or at least the attractive ones were.  This guy resented that and blamed anybody 'white' as part of that.  He is unable to distinguish who was really the 'Slave Owners' so just blames all White People.

   I grew up in SoCal, so there wasn't any 'Jim Crow' there.  The South was a 'foreign country' to me.  I thought it was just white Southerners hating Blacks. But no, it was Blacks hating ALL White People.  I realized these people, weren't going to be 'Brothers and Sisters' for a real long time.

But Black people hate White people because of Slavery.  It's a common bond.
What's funny, is that it doesn't matter if your ancestors fought on the Union side to free Blacks, your ancestors were Quakers that supported the Underground Railroad bringing Slaves to freedom, or that your ancestors arrived 50 years after the Civil War, ... they still hate you because you are 'white'.

It's not racist - or breedist - to acknowlege the strengths and weaknesses of dog breed or people breeds. 

For me to say that *** are not as intelligent ON AVERAGE - there being outliers - as white folks ON AVERAGE, is not racist. FACTS are not racist. REALITY is not racist. 

And for anyone to suggest that in light of all the evidence that subsaharan africans are athletically superior to every race on earth, it is still inconceivable that subsaharan africans are not at minimum equal in every other area of life, is black supremacist and racist. To deny that every race - like every dog breed - has advantages and disadvantages built into its DNA is **** racist. It's also infantile. The denial is a lie, and it is shame-based racism. We end up hating whom we patronize. That's what makes demoncrats so dangerous to their pets.

Depending on your definition, racism is in the dna - not generational at all.

Even little BABIES gravitate to other babies that look like them. 

If you tell me you don't prefer your race to others, I'll say you're either a liar, or a colored fella (in which case, who can blame you). I can tell you that - like ****** - I prefer to live around WHITE PEOPLE. 

So, you tell me. What race do YOU prefer to share a neighborhood with?

Racism, by and large, is and has wained with each passing generation, and will continue to do so naturally. Hatred for another is taught, and I personally believe that constantly preaching division to the youth isn't helping. It's moving backwards.

When you tell a room full of elementary kids that little Tommy's great grandaddy probably owned little Deonte's great grand daddy and subjected him to the horrors of slavery, that's creating animosity not healing... in my opinion.

Healing is creating a society where Tommy and Deonte see each other as equals, and are treated as such. Telling Tommy he "owes" Deonte for his ancestors past transgressions is ridiculous. At that point you are pitting the two kids against each other, instead of bringing them together, and it's counterproductive.

Depending on what you are calling racism, it hasn't waned. It's been suppressed. 

If you look up, you MGIHT notice some **** burning cities. 

That's what suppression brings about.
