I am hearing a lot of chatter on the question. If we did, we should face the consequences for our crime.

A search of the OP title doesn't turn up any credible links worrh sharing.

We are almost through the winter and tens of thousands of Germans haven't froze to death or are starving to stay warm. Global warming has kept Europe anomolously warm fortunately.

Who else would blow it up? For Russia, Nordstream was an effective tactical weapon in this conflict, which was causing increasingly visible cracks to form in the united front against Russia. It was also their infrastructure and their product that bubbled away in to the atmosphere. Its destruction has had nothing but negative consequences for them. The west blew up Nordstream, because there's no point in your citizens rioting about getting a gas pipeline switched back on if it doesn't exist any more - irrespective of how many of you are freezing to death.

We blew up Nordstream.. I'm amazed we have the brass neck to try and blame Russia - and even more amazed we're getting away with it. Why bother waiting for evidence with a US flag on it - it's bloody obvious what happened

We didn't hear much about freezing to death or even increased energy costs.  I think an additional motive for us to blow it up was the opportunity to sell natural gas to them??  Thanks for your comment.

World wars have started over less. Denying involvement will cost the US credibility when the truth inevitably cones out. It was a stupid move.

US prices went up because joe was sending LNG to Europe while their prices increased as well...

Let's bloody the nose of the bully with enough nuclear weapons to end all life on earth several times over. What could go wrong?

They called for a cease fire in Ukraine today..  I guess so they can make the war last until they can get arms production rolling.

Shutting off this pipeline clearly denies Euros to Russia... Euros it can no longer use to support its illegal conquest of Ukraine. How is that not a smart move?

Blowing up infrastructure is bad in my opinion.  Doing it covertly and getting caught sends a very dangerous message. It's akin to terrorism.
 
 

Politicians are aware that it is wise that they project their personalities as being just crazy enough to do something rash, like Dropping The Big One. Nixon did this, Reagan also did this, and now Putin is emulating them.

Putin is a horrible person, but he is not stupid and probably not crazy.  But he does try to seem that he MIGHT be just crazy enough to start WWIII.

I think nato was created as a military alliance to counter the Soviet Union. That their mission hasn't changed since they began to expand eastward to Russias doorstep. They believe this expansion is a threat to their existence, not resisting would be national suicide.
