Can't really disagree.  A truck loan is of similar importance to a landscaper's career as a college degree is to a teacher's.  

Besides, nothing is being done about the high tuition.  Why is that?

If I may be so bold as to disagree on one point.  This isn’t loan forgiveness.  It is moving who pays it.  The guy buying the truck is also going to help pay for that student loan,

It's hair splitting.  I was watching Bernie Sanders talk to Betsy DeVoss.  He asked if she would commit to making college education free.  Her response was that nothing can ever truly be free.  Bernie was as confused as Joe Biden when being asked to sign an executive order without the promise of pudding.

We'll both agree, nothing of value can be free.  Someone is paying, we know that.  Semantics aside, loan forgiveness is for the borrower.

I have seen universal public education up close and personal. 

Let me tell you, there are NO racial set asides, NO underwater basket weaving degrees, NO gender set asides - and no one has the leisure to engage in sport-victimhood. The kids have to EARN the limited seats for which they contend, passing rigorous annual boards and keeping their **** grades up or it's off to trade school with 'em.

You wanna see the campuses nenigged? Pass universal higher education.

I look at departments at some universities and I'm blown away by the number of useless employees. You have chairs, deans, administrators, advisors, assistance, business managers, etc. I'm just looking at a single department at a university.

What has not? Medical sure as has is.

Good. Maybe dopey libtards will stop getting degrees in “women’s studies” and start getting actual in demand degrees.

We can thank Bill Clinton for that. He passed a law that removed the cap on student loans. Therefore, students can borrow an unlimited amount. The universities began to charge far more because they knew the government would give it to them. Now the universities are getting filthy rich, and the students are swamped in debt for an education that is no better than what it was before they raised the cost.

This so-called loan forgiveness is just a play on words, its really loan transference.....tax payers will take it in the *** so Biden can buy a few more votes.
