You are too stupid to see level 2+ when it slaps you in the face.

He proves himself as an incompetent ******* daily. His ego far exceeds his IQ.

He is predictable, I have 100% accuracy on what he says in upcoming comments.

Here watch, if he is reading this, his response will be: "Post your thoughts!"

I always reply with the challenge that I offered him, he always lies in return.

Repeat and repeat....

NASA had the best engineers and were under the same technology as SpaceX. How come NASA couldn't figure it out?
SpaceX surely has a large number of former NASA employees working for them
The problem with NASA is likely the same as with complicated weapons: NASA is obligated to spread the jobs around, so that some parts are made in this congressman;s district, those are made in this other guy's district. Spacex is not required to do this.
NASA is under much less pressure to keep prices down. And until Spacex came along, all big rocket jobs were given through NASA.
Of course, technology has advanced since the first space shots, especially due to more and more government and private satellite launches.
Technology learned at one job can be applied to future jobs.

"Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.". I have seen that define something before.

In regards to Mars Vegas is agreeing with Skans.  That if NASA did not become a "bloated bureaucracy, more worried about sustaining their funding than actually achieving"...which led to the Shuttle Program they could have focused on Mars and beyond and the technology TODAY would be more advanced.

Your turn.  What do you believe the point was?

To bray, uninformed, in an effort to sound informed.

Skans does it all the time. Impresses the **** out of imbeciles like you and @Vegas  ....

This is a reflection of your eager credulity, the quality that endears you to influencers and their sponsors.

       @Huey  you have triggered him. He always talks like this after he gets owned.

Veghead, your immutable ineptitude in profound cognitive prowess has left your critical thinking skills impotent and mentally stupefied to all attempts to inculcate you to a comprehensive and cross-disciplinary conceptual framework required for level 2+ cogitation.
