not sure he can do that.  In order to do that “he” would have to know the definition of “woman”.

He doesn’t.

It is brilliant parody of your typical ken burns documentary.

It is funny on multiple levels. It is rich with humor.

I would say the writer/director of that vid is more genius than idiot. It's had MILLIONS of views over the years. There are multiple copies of it on youtube.

We could have been to Mars by now, the technology could have been developed. They had the tech to build on to make better tech. They didn't. It's unfortunate, though, that we need to use space for defense. It's necessary, and I support it, but I wish we could explore the universe instead.

@Blackvegetable  do you see Skan's post? This is an example of 'thoughts.' No copy/paste, no incessant questions/demands, no insults. Just good old critical thinking skills.
Our current technology gets us to about 38,000 mph.
The nearest bodies we could even consider aiming for are moving away at 160,000 mph.

The further away destinations/planets are, the faster away from us they are traveling.
This is because space itself is expanding. A tough-to-grasp concept. Space-time can increase in theory "faster than light".
But it isn't really traveling faster than light itself. Space is increasing and time slows at speed.

We will never reach much of anything else in space. Any conveyance will be carrying Earth orphans. We will be a very distant memory. Maybe.
Please seat yourself.

Great post Deezer. We can reach Mars. However, like you said, anything else may be out of our scope. The universe, and existence in itself, is a mystery. Sure, we have science to understand its' laws, but not all questions and curiosities can be resolved in a lab. That's why I love philosophy. It's the land between science and religion.

Yes, and I was referring to bodies outside of our solar system.
Like Alpha Centuri. It's amazing to me that if you had a Roman gladiator look up at the sky with us right now, he couldn't see any difference. Even with the speeds I'm talking about the distances are so vast that they represent hardly any movement in a thousand years. Sure there might be some rotational difference, season to season, winter sky might appear to be a spring sky, but the constellations would not have changed. They will have moved millions of miles but that's nothing speaking astronomically.
Astrologists really talk about the "observable universe" for a reason. It's the furthest we have been able to pick up light within our existence. There hasn't been enough time passed for light any older than that to have reached us yet. The universe, for all we know is older than 13 billion years. We just haven't seen that far yet. So, infinite becomes a real concept and it is unfathomable.
Please seat yourself.

JWST is changing our knowledge of the Universe .  It looks to me that there is a problem with the 13.8 Billion year old age theory.  They are finding large developed galaxies separated from us by back then and they shouldn't be there.

Only validates now is eternity and the universe is limited to naturally perpetually balancing outcomes forward here now as cycles within cycles never duplicating results again.

That physical eternity where results are eternally separated evolving here in plain sight self evident by compounding details each life cycle is never same form as its origin of a single fertilized cell the nucleus becomes the brain to the body born into the species or mutation changing the species forward here.

Thanks for the information.
