DeSantis is young and has to realize that four years as VP under Trump could easily turn into eight years POTUS if he plays his cards right.SJConspirator » 12 Mar 2023, 12:41 pm » wrote: ↑ If Trump and DeSantis ran together for POTUS, that would be awesome.

It's still to soon to tell at this point what's going to shake out. I think if Trump were to step aside and actually endorsed a DeSantis campaign in 2024, then DeSantis would be unstoppable... but right now, I just don't see that happening.
Now that's funny Cyndi!

DeSantis has zero charisma.
And yet he managed the largest victory ever in Fl. He won 62 of 67 counties, managing to flip 13 of the 18 counties he lost in 2018. That included Miami Dade County.Xavier_Onassis » 12 Mar 2023, 1:32 pm » wrote: ↑ Trump is dead meat, politically.

There was a guest on Bill Mahr Friday that kept repeating the charisma thing about DeSantis.RedheadedStranger » 12 Mar 2023, 2:43 pm » wrote: ↑ Xavier is an idiot that spews garbage talking points that she primarily pulls out of her own ***.
She doesn't like DeSantis because he stands firm against the sexualization of our children by "progressives" like her.
Charlie Crist doesn;t have much charisma, either.Huey » 12 Mar 2023, 2:35 pm » wrote: ↑ And yet he managed the largest victory ever in Fl. He won 62 of 67 counties, managing to flip 13 of the 18 counties he lost in 2018. That included Miami Dade County.

Whatever he chose lead to the largest victory ever in Fl. Freedom, which is why Cubans came here, was number one on his agendaXavier_Onassis » 12 Mar 2023, 7:09 pm » wrote: ↑ Charlie Crist doesn;t have much charisma, either.
We have not had a Democratic politician in Florida with charisma since Gov Lawton Chiles.
DeSantis chose to choose a culture wars approach because it does not entail actually spending money to ban books and harass professors. Emotional issues are all that Republicans have.
