When it comes to "rights", yes.
No. Not completely. BTW, this is from the Declaration of Independence from England, not from the Constitution which was negotiated as a binding pact between the 13 original states and every state admitted to the Union after that.We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal "and endowed by the creator with certain inalienable rights among these life liberty and pursuit of happiness"
you agree with that?
Except, that's not what the statement says. You can make up all kinds of **** and interject it into what was actually written, but the fact remains, it is not what was said.Xavier_Onassis » 05 Apr 2023, 8:57 am » wrote: ↑ The statement that "all men are created equal" does not refer to physical or mental ability. Every person has their own personal physical and mental abilities. It refers to their rights before the law.
What should happen and the definition of an individual's rights are not even close to being one and the same.No one should starve to death in this country.
No one should be forced to live outdoors in this country.

In any event, I do not believe that all men are created equal. I do believe that all men are endowed by the creator with certain inalienable rights. I do not believe that people have a right to live perpetually, or upon handouts from others. They have a right to pursue their own lives, pursue happiness and a right to liberty, i.e. freedom, as more specifically defined by the Constitution.
Ok, let's address this point of yours.SJConspirator » 05 Apr 2023, 9:04 am » wrote: ↑then Bill Gates has no right to buy up all arable land, declare it private property and make people starve while he uses thier tax dollars to police the very lands they are "trespassing"
Really depends on the individual reciting it. You, for instance, always misleading people from understanding life evolving in plain sight. You are a conspirator.SJConspirator » 05 Apr 2023, 8:41 am » wrote: ↑ The Constitution? Thats what you believe in?

If you don't want to work and earn money to live, no one else has any responsibility to take care of you.
Exactly. No one has a right to tape your mouth shut.golfboy » 03 Apr 2023, 8:13 pm » wrote: ↑ You have the right to life.
If you aren't able to earn/provide for yourself, that's on you.
Not nearly the same thing.
