I know the keep it "Illegal" crowd yet all that does is open "Black-Markets" for REAL CRIMINALS and ya taxpayers gotta pay for enforcement & jails ..

Despite the War In Dope there is more Dope on the Streets it flows like Tap Water the kids are "Dropping Like Flies" this Fetnyl Garbage..

So what have the laws really "Accomplished" I'm asking okay?

Example the 1980s/1990s we got Hard on Crack Cocaine Epidemic & roughly Doubled the Prison Population..

2023 we got "Fetnyl" & they put that in "Weed" now..

But because of "Wokeness" cannot lock people up anymore

You're a LONG way from collecting 10 BILLION, DORKMOUTH!! Its ONLY been legal and TAXES collected since Jan 1, 2020. THREE YEARS and the "best tax year" was $455 MILLION??

While Illinois reported $455 million in tax revenue from legal weed in the last year, we also have the 2nd highest taxes on recreational marijuana.

 

I'll tell ya something else too pal ..

Half this "Crime" Epidemic is half the people they locked up in State Prisons have a "Forest Gump" IQ ..

Then stall em with a criminal record too so even when they get out cannot find a Real Job nor Housing so they go back to Dope an On "Average" in the Wisconsin State Department Of Corrections roughly 1/3 Parolees end up back in prison within a year or two..

At the 5 year mark roughly 75 percent have "Re-Offendended" ..

Perhaps expand the death penalty or end private for profit prisons? Only ways to avoid the expansion of the prison industrial complex. Fly into Taiwan and there is a huge red banner written in English covered in black skulls that reads "The penalty for trafficking drugs is death".
 

I shall say the Wisconsin Department Of Corrections is "somewhat" Self-Suffient on the Food Front they own lots of Farms and cheap Inmate Labor .

Want the SOLUTION instead of you having a CONSTANT BITCH SESSION about "what it costs"???

DON'T COMMIT CRIME and you DON'T GO TO PRISON!! See how SIMPLE and CHEAP THAT SOLUTION IS???

Instead of DUMBING DOWN these inner city schools NATIONWIDE, why not institute programs where STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE is the norm and finding ways to get these kids into HIGHER EDUCATION because of their ACCOMPLISHMENTS instead of "passing them through" because they are "troubled youth". How about ending "racial quotas" and instead focus on HIGHER GRADES!! How about stopping this "baby daddy" **** and start with PARENTING as a FATHER AND MOTHER raising a kid(s) TOGETHER!!

No, instead you want to blame "the system" for the problems when the PROBLEMS started LONG BEFORE the "system" ever got involved.

Back in the 1980s/1990s crime & murder rates were "Higher" than today actually. 

Part of the Massive Expansion in "Corrections" $pending was the "Truth In Sentacing Act" a Wisconsin State Law as of January 2001 "modeled" after Federal Bureau Of Prisons..

1/3 of that is Crappy by the book Parole Officers who lock a guy up for pissing weed & "Legacy" Co$ts that's "Pension" & Benefits for DOC Employees that reach "State Retirement" age had the years to "Collect" a State Pension..
