In the cake issue, the owner knows, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what the cake is for. Nobody knows what a person will use the gun for. Most people use them responsibly. A small minority don't. In fact, only .004% of the popu;ation are murdered by guns.

The Second Amendment referred to "well organized militias", not random twerps armed with military weapons.

The Second Amendment should be amended.

Any action by the government to limit the number of guns will save American lives.

Every gun store owner should be very careful not to sell guns to would-be murderers.  To that end, they:

• talk with the prospective purchaser to find out what they want and what they want it for
• Have them fill out a BATFE Form 4473, which contains a lot of personal information
• Conduct a background check with the FBI's NICS service.

So, all gun store owners DO IN FACT take serious precautions to make sure they are not selling a gun to a murderer or even a would-be murderer. 

Now, about forcing Christians to make cakes for Satanists and Homosexuals, tell me again why you believe they should be forced to do so.

Dumb logic, unless the future school shooter goes into the gun store and announces his intentions to commit mass murder. Off the shelf cakes were available to the gay couples, a custom cake featuring two grooms was refused.

If only we had a process to amend the constitution. Sorry if your opinion isn't shared by 2/3rds of the states. Whining about it won't accomplish anything, attempting to soil law abiding gun owners with the acts of a deranged few is futile. Perhaps make a compelling argument that doesn't rely on demonizing law abiding citizens?
