Tantalum Hafnium Carbide Alloy does not melt at hypersonic ballistic velocity.
A BB sized pellet cannot be stopped by any known armored vehicle or most buildings.
It is likened to an iron ore meteorite strike similar in ratio to the Arizona Crater of the Moon (aka Barringer Crater).
That produced damage at a ratio of 27 to 1 the size of the projectile.
By way of comparison a 30mm bullet would rend a nearly 3 foot hole in the side of an armored boat, submarine, etc.
When coated with a ferrous metal the newest magnetic rail gun can produce ballistic speeds of 30,000+ MPH.
This is asteroid hitting Earth speed. But the bullet will resist burning up long enough to strike.
It is unknown where this technology is deployed or which counties are in possession.
