It's difficult. One of the things that's hard to get to grips with, is that despite the fact you may want a civil exchange of facts, the person you're talking to may have nothing in their head but **** you as fast as possible. They're not going to let you speak or make points and all you get is snarky, evasive debating tactics at every turn. Detecting which is which on the fly - and in time to do something about it - is not that easy
No, I'm not raking through history to 'provide links'. If you can't directly dispute a point, then question your own links.
