Many West Virginians are dirt poor. The mines have closed, and there are no jobs. Essentially, WV is a colony of Pittsburgh and other more prosperous places. The Republican Party is dedicated to perpetuating the transfer of wealth from the poor and middle classes to the ultra wealthy.
This fool just likes his job, and his constituents are angry about their sad lot in life, and Trump is also angry and simplistic. So he hops on the Trumpwagon to continue getting his perks and salary.
