war is profit. profit from fear, that justifies massive military build up expenses. extend wars for decades. make sure the enemy will survive and not give up. never use biological or nuclear weapons to shorten the 'profit war'. boots on the ground maximizes replacement profits, and profits from servicing the troops. drop bombs that make the loudest noise, biggest flash, lots of smoke (for the propaganda media), and creates the most profit for the manufactures. allow congress to profit from wars. demand the military command lie to the troops ("we thank you for sacrificing your life for democracy"). and be sure the media gets massive compensations for spreading the government's propaganda.  THE ART OF WAR (usa capitalist style)
