Go Woke, Go Broke.  Disney is another casualty of the woke brigade.  Normal people with families don't want to see *** and lesbians in kids movies.  Nor do they want to be inundated with *** characters or Lesland themed rides, or even the Tranny-Bear Jamboree when they go Disney World/Land.

Disney went woke, people finally took note and now they are only worth half what they were 3 years ago.  How does Disney plan on getting all of those family-oriented customers (I mean "guests") back again?  They still do not have a clue.  So, instead of refocusing their corporate efforts,DISNEY BEGINS FIRST ROUND OF MAJOR LAYOFFS BY CUTTING 7,000 JOBS

The dollar lost its value is the only reason Disney is half what it was 3 years ago. **** propaganda again.

It never ceases to amaze me how these MEGA corporations can all of a sudden decide that somehow appealing to less than 1% of the population is going to keep them MEGA?? Have these Gen Z'ers they are hiring actually believe that MOST HETERO AMERICANS are just going to accept this insanity without pushing back??

Well, yes, yes they do and that is the very reason you PUT THEM ON THE STREETS BEGGING FOR ALMS!!

A Sign I saw recently had a Gen Z'er that got FIRED from a cashiers job at a restaurant because her BOYFRIEND thought he could hang out her full shift and talk to her. When she was TOLD REPEATEDLY that she had to STOP THIS CRAP, she threw a hissy fit and got fired. NOW he is closing 3 days a week simply because NO ONE WANTS TO WORK under the rules HE established. AND the little pink haired "cashier" wants to sue him for discrimination of some stupid crap.

THIS is what we are dealing with folks.

THIS is what we are dealing with folks.

First, responding to your friend's scenario, this is why you need to have a good restaurant manager who is a wiz at hiring and scheduling.  Yes, you actually have to invest some money in your manager and your employees if you want to get the ones that work.  They generally can hire people who will not be trouble-makers.  I'm going to bet a couple of things with regard to your friend's restaurant:

• He does not have a good manager who actively keeps his finger in the pool of restaurant workers.
• He isn't paying restaurant staff enough, and is probably behind the 8-ball of raising wages when other more successful restaurants beat him to it.
• Either he, or his manager, is not quick enough at firing bad employees. He should be doing this during the "probationary period". 
• They aren't doing any background checks on new hires. 

Second, I think Disney is ripe for an activist investor or investor group to come in and take over its management. In fact, I'm wondering why this hasn't happened yet.  I will need to look a bit further into the equity structure to try and figure this out.  Carl Icahn, Paul Singer, Dan Loeb and/or Jeffrey Smith  - y'all should be licking your chops, salivating over the wounded mouse by now.  Who's gonna move first???

Disney has been hosting "red shirt day" - gay day, turned into gay week, for decades now.  They used to keep it contained and on the down-low.  But, now they've gone full woke.

The problem is, this is not compatible for families who pay thousands of dollars just to enjoy the Disney experience.   Battling the heat and lines is one thing, but having to be surrounded by perverts, ***, lesbians, trannies, etc - no one wants any of that.  

It used to be that a family could count on Disney's front-line employees to ensure their kids would be completely safe, even if they got lost in the theme park.  These employees were highly regulated, couldn't even have a beard, let alone sloppy hair, uniform, etc.  And, they HAD to treat the "guests" with the utmost respect.  This has all completely changed. 

Fewer and fewer families are willing to spend thousands of dollars for a vacation they despise.  Also, Disney hasn't been turning out any block-buster movies of late, so the place is loosing its appeal to kids.

I am no great fan of Disney, but compared to Exxon-Mobil, Disney is far less immoral.

There is nothing immoral about hiring gay young people to put on a Mickey suit, a Donald Duck suit, or a Goofy suit.
There is nothing immoral about Disney having special events days for LBTGQ people.

If you are running an amusement park and gay events produce a big attendance, then that is what it makes perfect sense to do.
Disney is not counting on you to attend this or ever.

We can argue about whether it is moral or not.  I recognize that you and others have differing views from me as to what is moral.

However, there is no argument that catering to gays, trannies, lesbians, etc. is incompatible with most men-women with families. Gay-Land is not what couples with kids want when attending Disney Land.  And, the vast amount of revenue coming from Disney theme parks and entertainment is from traditional male-female families with children.  Children of which their parents are very protective.  And, children these parents want to relive and even pass down their own "Disney Experience" they experienced as children.
