It never ceases to amaze me how these MEGA corporations can all of a sudden decide that somehow appealing to less than 1% of the population is going to keep them MEGA?? Have these Gen Z'ers they are hiring actually believe that MOST HETERO AMERICANS are just going to accept this insanity without pushing back??Skans » 19 Apr 2023, 8:35 am » wrote: ↑ Go Woke, Go Broke. Disney is another casualty of the woke brigade. Normal people with families don't want to see *** and lesbians in kids movies. Nor do they want to be inundated with *** characters or Lesland themed rides, or even the Tranny-Bear Jamboree when they go Disney World/Land.
Disney went woke, people finally took note and now they are only worth half what they were 3 years ago. How does Disney plan on getting all of those family-oriented customers (I mean "guests") back again? They still do not have a clue. So, instead of refocusing their corporate efforts,DISNEY BEGINS FIRST ROUND OF MAJOR LAYOFFS BY CUTTING 7,000 JOBS
Yeah, one woman got fired from some unnamed restaurant, and that proves that Disney is a failing business.Beekeeper » 19 Apr 2023, 8:52 am » wrote: ↑ It never ceases to amaze me how these MEGA corporations can all of a sudden decide that somehow appealing to less than 1% of the population is going to keep them MEGA?? Well, yes, yes they do and that is the very reason you PUT THEM ON THE STREETS BEGGING FOR ALMS!!
A Sign I saw recently had a Gen Z'er that got FIRED from a cashiers job at a restaurant because her BOYFRIEND thought he could hang out her full shift and talk to her. When she was TOLD REPEATEDLY that she had to STOP THIS CRAP, she threw a hissy fit and got fired. NOW he is closing 3 days a week simply because NO ONE WANTS TO WORK under the rules HE established. AND the little pink haired "cashier" wants to sue him for discrimination of some stupid crap.
THIS is what we are dealing with folks.
So then coca cola, mirosoft and mcdonalds have also lost half their value. Cuz dollar.Nostradamus'omh » 19 Apr 2023, 8:45 am » wrote: ↑ The dollar lost its value is the only reason Disney is half what it was 3 years ago. **** propaganda again.
First, responding to your friend's scenario, this is why you need to have a good restaurant manager who is a wiz at hiring and scheduling. Yes, you actually have to invest some money in your manager and your employees if you want to get the ones that work. They generally can hire people who will not be trouble-makers. I'm going to bet a couple of things with regard to your friend's restaurant:Beekeeper » 19 Apr 2023, 8:52 am » wrote: ↑ It never ceases to amaze me how these MEGA corporations can all of a sudden decide that somehow appealing to less than 1% of the population is going to keep them MEGA?? The pink hair is certainly a predictor against success.Xavier_Onassis » 19 Apr 2023, 9:05 am » wrote: ↑ Yeah, one woman got fired from some unnamed restaurant, and that proves that Disney is a failing business.
Why, you would have fired her the moment she showed up with pink hair!
Really? Tell that to Lady Gaga.Cannonpointer » 19 Apr 2023, 9:10 am » wrote: ↑ The pink hair is certainly a predictor against success.
In the job and the life.
The most dangerous place on earth is between a goo-faced leftist rube and an outlier.
So, you were so concerned the other day that if Disney stopped going woke they would lose all of their talented employee's....Xavier_Onassis » 19 Apr 2023, 9:05 am » wrote: ↑ Yeah, one woman got fired from some unnamed restaurant, and that proves that Disney is a failing business.

Ok. Because, I wouldn't hire her. She means as much to me as an ant crawling up a tree.
Yeah, Lady Gaga made a killing fleecing the LBGTQaRSVHPT++ community....
This morning i heard that they're planning a big LBGTQ bash coming up. So i'm not sure they got the message yet.Skans » 19 Apr 2023, 9:26 am » wrote: ↑ Ok. Because, I wouldn't hire her. She means as much to me as an ant crawling up a tree.
Disney has been hosting "red shirt day" - gay day, turned into gay week, for decades now. They used to keep it contained and on the down-low. But, now they've gone full woke.sootedupCyndi » 19 Apr 2023, 9:32 am » wrote: ↑ This morning i heard that they're planning a big LBGTQ bash coming up. So i'm not sure they got the message yet.
Pink hair is somehow immoral?
just because it takes more dollars to buy a 50 cent hamburger doesn't mean the value of their companies are larger percentage wise than before, you keep ignoring the universe code of perpetual balancing outcomes here now.Cannonpointer » 19 Apr 2023, 9:08 am » wrote: ↑ So then coca cola, mirosoft and mcdonalds have also lost half their value. Or you're stupid.
Let me do some maff and get back to you.
If you are running an amusement park and gay events produce a big attendance, then that is what it makes perfect sense to do.sootedupCyndi » 19 Apr 2023, 9:32 am » wrote: ↑ This morning i heard that they're planning a big LBGTQ bash coming up. So i'm not sure they got the message yet.
We can argue about whether it is moral or not. I recognize that you and others have differing views from me as to what is moral.Xavier_Onassis » 19 Apr 2023, 9:41 am » wrote: ↑
There is nothing immoral about Disney having special events days for LBTGQ people.
It would be curious to find out- How many do go.Xavier_Onassis » 19 Apr 2023, 9:56 am » wrote: ↑ If you are running an amusement park and gay events produce a big attendance, then that is what it makes perfect sense to do.
Disney is not counting on you to attend this or ever.
