If you were an actor, I'm pretty that the results would be the same.
Unless, of course, you displayed the same attitude you do in this forum.
Baldwin was contrite and that counted for a lot.
This was essentially an unintentional accident.
And OF COURSE he should finish the film.
I imagine that it will be much watched by many.

I would have never pointed a firearm at someone, loaded or not, unless I intended to shoot them in the first place.

when criminal court fails civil lawsuits come to play. There has always been a double jeopardy clause in American Law and order, just people believing in two sided storylines never experience adapting as eternally separated by 7 degrees of separation.

Baldwin killed someone through his own negligence, and he's going to skate because of who he is. He's even trying to get the civil case brought by Hutchins' family tossed, and probably will be successful because of who he is.

    And as for Baldwin being "contrite",  he put a far greater emphasis on absolving himself and putting blame on others during that sit down Interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos... Even many of his supporters and legal minds concurred it was a bad move -- and he came off far more sympathetic to himself than the woman he shot..  Remember him saying, "I don't know who's to blame, but I know it isn't me" ... He then lied claiming he didn't pull the Trigger -- this proved to be a lie & impossibility given the Gun was a Revolver..

    He also did himself few favors with his impromptu roadside interview with the Paparazzi, and his nagging wife Hilaria chiming in..
