Let's discuss this.  I'm posting a photo of the man throwing one or two "haymaker" punches....



Now, the man in the cap would be in some SERIOUS trouble if he tried to punch anyone who knows how to fight like this. Look at that wind-up!!!  What would you do?  There's just so much meat there to work with.  Well, here goes:

• step in, left knee to the groin, right uppercut to the chin followed by two left jabs to the nose glasses, or
• Block right haymaker, front left kick to the groin, right cross to the chin, jab jab,  - oh, F-it, the guy's already down.
• Second photo - duck, side-kick to the left knee, right to the kidney, left upper-cut to the chin, knee to the crotch.

Make sure you wear hard rubber, leather welted boots for the ever-easy kick to the knee shin-scrape.

His fighting prowess isn't in question. He doesn't have any. But his motivation and response, I commend.
Personally, I'd use my palm for the upper cut to the chin. Much power there, and less trauma to your hand and knuckles.

That's actually difficult to do in practice - yes, good technique if you can pull this off.  I could never do this, my wrists are not flexible in that direction  Regardless, I would want to be on the inside of that wild haymaker after a right knee to the groin.  So, my fist is going to be in position right under his wide-open chin, if all goes well.  

As for whether he should have hit that woman - I can't tell from the photos.  I can just tell that neither one of them know how to fight, but sure as ****, that dumb lady isn't going to get out of the way of that wild "here-----it-----comes" punch.

Bas Rutten had a really effective move.
There was a video interview where he described it and some clips of him in action.

Basically it was a wide swing hitting with the inside of the wrist against the lower skull just behind the ear.
It wasn't too hard on his hand but it imparted a lot of inertia to the brain and could easily stun or render the opponent unconscious.

If you take the heel of your hand and bump that boney area you can get a sense of how jarring that would be.
A hard fast blow with the heel of the hand by a determined attacker could be lights out.

This is PRECISELY why I don't always fight - but when I do, I fight women and children. 

They NEVER see it coming. They just don't know what to look for.

And the women who have been properly trained by getting knocked around when they mouth off? All they do is cower and cover, lmao. I mean, make it easy, woncha, dummy? 

I stopped fighting dudes YEARS ago. Way too much pain involved in dude fighting. And women are toadly ekwul.

That punch could be called a cartoon punch, and anyone not familiar with fighting would think I was employing hyperbole. I'm not. It was LITERALLY a punch precisely identical to what cartoon punches look like. That dude is definitely not going around punching folks - and that alone rather testifies that he had good cause.

He developed that because you were not allowed to use the fist above the neck in Pancrase. He generally used his knuckles for his legendary liver shots - though I HAVE seen him perform those open-handed, as well.

I don't know what the man does or doesn't do.  What I do know is that he does not know how to fight.  I've seen a lot of Blacks throw punches like this. Most swing wildly from side to side.  As for Blacks who know how to fight, they like to showcase their skills "shadow-boxing" in the gym, or even in the streets. One of the gyms I work out at is right across the street from a boxing gym.  So, we have a group of Blacks in there who know how to box.  I would avoid fighting them - truth be told, they aren't the ones going around looking for trouble. But if you can't avoid them, at least you know their style of fight beforehand as they advertise it.

Yeah that was a silly punch. It was more of a push punch. A falcon punch would have been his best move in this situation but would need to be followed up by serious sterilization of his hand.

Don't forget the liver shot to the right lower side. They'll collapse immediately with good placement.
