Ten more weeks before a concealed carry permit becomes unnecessary to carry concealed in Florida.  According to DeSantis, this is supposed to strengthen the Second Amendment !!!!   Last I checked, the militia in Florida consisted entirely of alligators and retirees .   DeSantis' next step is open carry, in a holster, just like in Abbot's Fascist-leaning Texas and make-believe Hollywood westerns.

This is supposed to solve the gun violence problem .   Just like it did in Uvalde Texas.  Abbot has no explanation for that one !

Why is FL so special in your mind concerning this?  There are 27 states that have passed such laws.  Nebraska did within the last week or so.  While I don't agree with it that  is over half the country.

How does taking guns out of the hands of good citizens solve the gun violence problem?

What does a militia have to do with a CCP?

One correction. They are not gun haters. They LOVE guns, just as long as they can control who has them.

Florida has more people, and is governor wants to be president.
Nebraska has far fewer people and there are no Nebraskans running for president and none of Nebraska's politicians are even moderately well-known.

Florida has had a larger number of senseless mass massacres.
No presidential election has ever depended on Nebraska. Florida has been of major importance since the 1970's.

Below are the other states that allow permitless carry.  I don't buy the "more people" excuse.

You have just admitted that singling out Fl and DeSantis is pure politics. Florida is number 3 in mass shootings with 147.  Illinois is 2nd with 209.  That is 62 more.  And there gun laws are a hell of a lot stricter than Florida.  And let's not forget Ca with 257.  That is a hundred more than Florida.

I think that your concern is misplaced.
