I am impressed of how well this boycott has done. The latest value I could find was April 13th, 6-billion-dollar loss. Maybe it's more. I believe, though regrettably, that Bud Lite will pull though. It may take time, but I think if they keep the tranny off their product, acknowledge their mistake, offer an apology to their base, then they will eventually pull through. They already fired the VP marketer. Good start, though I still ask why she was the only one fired. It's unlikely that someone above her didn't give her the authority to run with it. 

I think this one will take much longer though. Culture surrounding a product influences its' reputation. They destroyed the culture that people loved. People are embarrassed to be seen with a Bud Lite. They will be labeled a *** or something similar. Getting through that mindset will be no easy task for the company.

• InBev will hire a new marketing team.
• That new marketing team will try any number of ways to re-capture customers of the brand in a short amount of time.
• They may need to go through hiring and firing of a number of marketing teams, if they can't bring back Bud Light sales.
• If the "boycott" lasts longer than 9 months, they will look at selling the brand, or spinning it off and taking it private.
• If they spin the brand off and take it private, then it could be ripe for repair. 

InBev won't want to give up Budweiser and Bud Light so easily.  It was once a crown jewel of theirs that  they acquired. But, if the boycott has longevity, they will have no choice.  They can't get enough new Bud Light customers without re-capturing the ones they lost, and make the brand work.

All good points. Like I said, they tainted the culture surrounding their brand. People are embarrassed to be seen with it. If they want it, they have to drink it privately, hooping that nobody sees them. That won't last. At the moment, it's now considered a *** and tranny beer. Why would people want to be seen with that.

You've got a lot of *** and trannies out there.  They will try and support the brand.  But, the more they try, the worse off it will be for the brand.

If I were the CEO of InBev, I would see the handwriting on the wall NOW and not wait for 9 months.  I'd spin off Budweiser, take it private and position it for a sale.  The brand can succeed, but not in InBev's hands.
 

In six months, no one will care, and nothing will have changed. LOL!

I see any of my buddies drinking any Anheuser Busch products, I'm gonna bust their chops pretty good for drinking queer beer.

I like it because its mild. I am a woman- but i switched to Miller lite!
And will hold out as long as it takes. To me the beer was a political statement... Enough IS ENOUGH!

I voted no for one reason, why is this going on? Micro breweries are trying to eliminate the big guys to gain in market share with general population. Follow the means, motives, methods of operating a reality convincing ancestries to perform as typecast people cradle to grave is a greater tomorrow than genetics sustain currently evolving as the whole species in plain sight.

I drink light beer.  And, I used to like drinking Bud Light.  My beers of choice were: Bud Light, Ultra, Miller Light, Yuengling Light and Amstel Light.

Some of us are athletes.  We actually care about being fit, strong, in shape, agile and not a fat slob.  We don't drink sugar drinks and we enjoy light beers every now and again.  "ALL light beer already is

That won't happen, the apology I mean... and they won't acknowledge they made a mistake either, although the firing of that woke marketing genius is a big clue.. lol.. Bud Light  won't get rid of its image, it's too much fun, people won't forget...
