In the early 80s I observed two workmates channeling Hawk Eye and BJ. They would engage in what they perceived as witty repartee, ostentaciously preening in their prefered character roles. I remember being saddened as disgusted at two grown men eschewing working on their own personalities to pretend to be two OTHER grown men who were, themselves, pretend characters. It was just **** sad. 

I began to notice that most people do not argue or debate with any thought of Socrates, or getting to the truth, or improving their understanding of the issue under debate. Rather, they argue to "win," to notch their gun, to make the other fellow feel small. And they argue to impress some audience whose approval is hard currency to their soft personalities. 

The percentage of people on this board who argue for edification is likely larger than the percentage who do so in most ivy league universities. And that is a poor commentary on the state of modern culture - especially given that only a handful on this board argue for edification.

Only in a country where the vast majority care more about feelings and fitting-in could the gender confusion gaslighting have any hope of success. All of Christendom has lost its way - we are well and truly ****.

Anyone with even a fleeting comprehension of 20th century history understands that a mighty purge is coming - a reckoning. Its unavoidable. Even A.I. is not going to save the jackals who are nipping away in the darkness at society's moral underbelly. 2 plus 2 is four, and "because I said so" is a fallacy - not science.
