Because 90% of the wealth in this country is owned by a teensy percentage of the population.
You don't want poor people to reproduce.
If you are a typical White American, you have not  reproduced enough for the consumer economy to grow, which is what it must do.
Race is clearly related to poverty, and poverty is clearly is related to economics.
If there is not a sufficient number of unemployed poor people, then the employers are forced to give up more of their wealth to pay them.
That would result in more competition for the employers.

There are more white poor people than black, racist.

After God told Adam and Ever to be fruitful and multiply, that is what they did. But God failed to inform them of the whole truth, that in a few generations, he would end up flooding the entire planet, leaving only Noah, Noah's wife and Noah's sons and their wives. Only eight people would he spare. And of COURSE God knew the future because he knows everything. There are lots and lots of lives that God did not treat as sacred, like the Canaanite inhabitants of Jericho, who did nothing to deserve to be attacked by Joshua and his illegal immigrant invaders.

Not that I actually believe any of this. But I did read the book.

People are getting married later or not at all because both men and women have careers and their daily lives have fallen into a rut, which caring for a child would change.
That is neither a leftist or a rightist position, it is simply what is happening.
This has affected most middle class couples of all ethnic types.
It seems to be less true of a few groups, such as Mormons and Amish/Mennonites.
